1. Information We Collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and password. When you make a payment we collect billing information via Stripe — we do not store your card details directly. When you use the platform we collect usage data including session duration, messages sent, and persona interactions. Creators provide additional information including their expertise, interview answers, and Q&A pairs to train their AI persona.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve the videopop.pro service; process payments and manage subscriptions; train and operate AI personas (creator knowledge only); send transactional emails about your account; analyze platform usage to improve performance. We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Conversation Privacy
Your conversations with AI personas are private. Conversations are transmitted over encrypted connections. We do not record, store, or review conversation transcripts by default. Session metadata (duration, timestamp) is stored for billing and analytics purposes. Creators do not have access to individual subscriber conversations.
4. Data Sharing
We share data with the following third-party services to operate the platform: Stripe (payment processing and creator payouts); Anam AI (avatar streaming infrastructure); Anthropic (AI response generation); Supabase (database and authentication); Vercel (hosting and deployment). Each provider has their own privacy policy and security standards. Anam AI and Supabase are SOC2 compliant. Anam AI is HIPAA-ready.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by tax law. Session metadata is retained for 12 months.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; export your data in a portable format; opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights contact support@videopop.pro.
7. Cookies
We use functional cookies to maintain your login session and remember your free preview usage. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted data storage, and access controls. Our infrastructure providers maintain SOC2 compliance. However no system is completely secure — use a strong unique password for your account.
9. Children
videopop.pro is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account contact support@videopop.pro and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
